Announcement of the transfer of “Tomoe River” paper products

As part of the structural reform of Functional Paper business, we have decided todiscontinue manufacturing and sales of "Tomoe River" paper products (Ultra-lightweight printing paper “Tomoe River mat” and notebook paper “Tomoe Rivernotebook”) on November 28, 2021 (planned).

As a result, we are pleased to inform you that the product sales contract, trademarkrights and inventory will be transferred to Sanzen Paper Manufacturing Co., Ltd., and"Tomoe River" products manufacturing and sales will be taken over and continuedby Sanzen Paper Manufacturing Co., Ltd.

Regarding this transfer, we will make best effort to ensure a smooth transfer andnot to cause any inconvenience to our customers, business partners, and otherconcerned parties.

We, Sanzen Paper Manufacturing Co., Ltd., or our distributors will inform ourcustomers and business partners about the procedures involved in the transferin order to make sure transfer this procedures.
